"A Woman of the World" …. you might picture someone who has stepped foot on every continent, speaks four languages, and moves through high society with effortless grace.
While that broad experience is part of it, the true heart of the phrase runs much deeper. To be a woman of the world isn’t just about the miles you’ve traveled—it’s about how deeply you’ve chosen to live.
For me, being a woman of the world means:
Belonging to the whole: Refusing to be boxed into a single role or expectation, and continuously expanding your identity beyond where you started.
Choosing courage over comfort: Meeting both the light and shadow of life with an open heart—remaining resilient, grounded, and empathetic through every triumph and heartbreak.
Cultivating connection, curiosity and learning: Seeing oneself in others and honoring the wisdom that, despite our different backgrounds, the human story is a shared one and keep learning to grow and improve.
Ultimately, this book is about sovereignty and embrace. It’s for the woman who has claimed her place under the sun—who doesn't just exist within the world, but holds all of its messiness and beauty within herself.
